His own personal experience testing the DYNO-BLADES.
Even Better Results have been noticed at Part-Throttle! 10-25% vs. WOT Dyno Tests. This means more FUN riding with better throttle response.
William Heitimann ("Hitman") Owner of MC DYNO-TECH reports that after installing an S & S 585 Easy Start Cam in a 2013 110 Street Glide; "The bike developed an off idle limp and a flat spot in the low end driving range. We tried tuning with the Power Commander and that improved the condition slightly but would not cure the problem. A previous DYNO-BLADE install seemed to improve the throttle response so I decided to try some (GEN I) DYNO-BLADES in this bike and all the drivability issues vanished. Thing runs like a watch now! In fact, we actually recorded a 16-18% gain in power between 10-40% throttle @ 1800 - 2200 RPM. That would have been enough bang for the buck right there but the DYNO-BLADES also increased the power @ WOT top to bottom as a bonus." Bill further added: "I'm not invested in the outcome here, it just did the trick!"
That's right Bill and wishful thinking does not satisfy a demanding costumer! .
On January 16 2016 I preformed tests on my own modified 2014 Harley Davidson 103” Street Glide motorcycle. This motorcycle included aftermarket high performance camshafts. Every effort was made to make the motorcycle preform at it's best for that given setup to serve as an accurate baseline for comparison purposes. Based on my experience this motorcycle was performing properly and produced a baseline consistent with a properly performing motorcycle of this type. I then installed DYNO-BLADES provided by Reggie Huff. Without tuning the fuel or ignition (spark) maps I witnessed an increase in torque and horsepower of between 1.5 – 2 % at all speeds. I believe this positive change is attributable to the DYNO-BLADES themselves and no other factor.
On January 28th 2016 I performed tests on a substantially unmodified 2014 103” Street Glide. Every effort was made to make the motorcycle preform at it's best for that given setup to serve as an accurate baseline for comparison purposes. The motorcycle was performing properly and produced a baseline consistent with a properly performing motorcycle of this type. I then installed DYNO-BLADES provided by Reggie Huff. Without tuning the fuel or ignition (spark) maps I witnessed an increases in torque of between 3 - 6 % and peek horsepower of 2 %. I believe this positive change is attributable to the DYNO-BLADES themselves and no other factor.
INDEPENDENT ON TRACK TESTING PROVES HFI WORKS!
Based on Xcentrick's first experience as a supporter of this forum it became immediately clear that some believe that dynamometer results used to promote any new product cannot and should not be trusted. How that skepticism holds up over many independent tests all over the country and even some with supporting affidavits is not yet clear. However, the solution to such skepticism would seem to be an alternative means of real world testing such as back to back tests on a sanctioned race track with state of the art independently operated timing data acquisition.
On Nov 4th 2017 AJ Berge, President of HEMI TUNER PERFOMANCE, conducted baseline tests on a sanctioned race track using a 6.1 Charger and recorded a best 12.3 sec ¼ MI run. He then installed a set of DYNO-BLADES and recorded an improvement to 12.18 sec. It is noteworthy that AJ did not tune the angle of the BLADES and just installed them straight up. Our testing indicates that more power was likely to be had simply by rotating the BLADES about 20 degrees counter clock wise. The recorded improvement works out to almost a 1.5 car length difference at the end of the track. No special consideration in any form has ever been offered to or been solicited from AJ.
FREE POWER!
In May of 2017 Bruce Volk of B & A Performance conducted Dyno tests on his own 2016 392 HEMI Challenger at Sheridon's in Minneapolis MN. HP was up 26 and torque over 20, top to bottom, on seven (7) BLADES (A rare anomaly on the nozzle tip end of one of injectors prevented installation of all eight (8) BLADES). Further the peak HP point went from 5900 RPM to 6150. Further, and inline with our own testing, Bruce reports an improvement in fuel economy of 10-15%!
